Set Call Routing for SIP Devices/Extensions

The AppCaption system has multiple ways to route SIP Devices to a destination or route, the following endpoints can be directed, IP Deskphones / Softphones /Diallers.

To navigate to the area where they are managed, sign into the Company Admin account a visit here:

My Account > SIP Devices

Here you can add, delete, manage SIP Devices/Extensions

Call routing is used for your call flow based on the SIP Devices/Extensions in your account.

Here we can route calls with various options like if a an Extension is offline, busy, has no answer, routes calls on sequence to another
SIP Device/Extension Number or on to a PSTN number aswell.

In call routing we can configure recording, call Waiting, DND (do not disturb) , have a pickup group features as well.

You can find all the settings under the Advance column for a created SIP Device/Extension as shown above in the red box.

Call ForwardHere we can set call forwarding, if enabled then all calls will be forwarded, for external call forwarding to another number such as mobile, then please select PSTN.
On BusyIf an extension is busy then set this option to forward if the end user is busy on a call, to either an internal extension number or an external PSTN number.
No AnswerIf an extension is not available after certain rings then set this option to forward this extension, to either an internal extension number or an external PSTN number.
Not RegisteredIf an extension is offline set this option to forward this extension, to either an internal extension number or an external PSTN number.
Allow RecordingUsed for enabling / disabling call recording option.
Pickup Group ListHere we can set extension pick group option, we can select multiple groups for pickup.
Allow Pickup Group ListHere we can set what pick up groups are available to the extensions to use in a live environment.
Follow MeSets in order of where the calls should follow on from a SIP extension if not answered.
TimeoutThis is used for Follow Me before the next destination is dialled.
Ignore BusyIf the SIP extension is busy you can set to ignore the Follow Me option.
Do Not DisturbDND disables any calls ringing through to the SIP extension.
