Access Your DIDs / Inbound Virtual Numbers

The AppCaption system has multiple ways to route Inbound DID calls to a Destination.

To navigate to the area where they are managed, sign into the Company Admin account a visit here:

Inbound > DID > Purchased

Here are the list of destinations that inbound numbers can be set to:

DestinationAction
DID-LocalIf you want to receive a DID call on your registered SIP extension then this needs to be set to DID-Local. This type will route calls from the inbound number to the Local SIP extension.
DID@IP/URLIf you want to route inbound calls to another PBX system then use this setting. For example: [email protected] OR [email protected].
Direct-IPIf you want to route a call on the same DID/Extension number which registered on another PBX server.
OtherIf you wish to route a call to a custom destination for example: sofia/default/[email protected] OR sofia/gateway/gwname/1234567890.
PSTNThis option forwards calls to PSTN Numbers such as another mobile number or landline.
SIP-DIDIf you wish to route a call to asterisk/other PBX server and if you need to use Caller ID in the header content then use this call type by setting one of the SIP devices of the DID Platform which is registered as a trunk on asterisk/other PBX server.
Ring GroupIf you wish to route the call to a Ring Group then select the Ring Group option and the system will list all Ring Groups set by you and you can select one of them.
ConferenceIf you wish to route the call to a audio Conference room then select the Conference option and the system will list all Conferences set by you and you can select one of them.
QueueIf you wish to route the call to a Queue then select the Queue option and system will list all the Queues set by you and you can select one of them.
IVR (Auto-attendant)If you wish to route the call to a IVR then select the IVR option and the system will list all IVRs set by you and you can select one of them.
Time-ConditionIf you wish to route the call to a Time-Condition then select the Time-Condition option and the system will list all Time-Condition set by you and you can select one of them.
FOIP (FAX)Set the email address on which you would like to receive a fax message as an email. For example: [email protected].
